It’s Paul Crowley President of CHE. After 36 years in this business, it is always gratifying to read a positive review of a recent experience at one of our tournaments. And this just happened...we had a Youth Hockey Tournament in Lake Placid, NY on the weekend of January 27-29, 2023 and following the weekend we were pleased to heard from a great customer experience.
Lake Placid is still one of my favorite places on the planet and it has never let me down. CHE has had over 150 tournaments or camps in Lake Placid since 1990! Yet every time I go, I find something new or gravitate back to my favorite place to go, hike, snowboard, skate or sit back and sip on a favorite beverage in a favorite establishment. When you return you will do the same I am sure and what great memories for the kids. Years ago I coached a 1982 born team and entered them into my own tournament in Lake Placid. I snuck them into an older division because I wanted to push our young players and it must have worked because we had 11 kids from that team either play Major Junior A in Canada or D-1 in the US. The point of this story is now as young men with families they still talk about Lake Placid as their favorite tournament!

See you on the ice in 2023.

“I just wanted to reach out and let you know how much our team enjoyed the tournament this past weekend. Obviously the best part was the location and being able to play in the different rinks but we also really appreciated that we played in four competitive games. Most of our experiences is that tournaments often include multiple blow outs which is never fun no matter what side you are on so we all really enjoyed the effort put into putting teams together that are competitive. I also thought the staff was very friendly and helpful so wanted to acknowledge that as well. Multiple people were already talking about doing it again next year.”
