RESIDENCE FEATURES:
- Check-in Session 1 - Saturday 1pm. Check-out Wednesday 1pm
- Check-in Session 2 - Wednesday 3pm. Check-out Sunday 1pm
- 4 nights accommodations (each room sleep 2 - 5 girls)
- 3 councellors per group who sleep on same floor 24/7
- Laundry on-site

PROGRAM FEATURES:

15 Hours total on-ice Monday to Friday
3 Hours on-ice daily
1 1/2 hours in the morning and 1 1/2 hours in the afternoon
Daily power skating on-ice:
- CHE Power Skating Program includes forward stride, backward stride, stops & starts, crossovers, agility, pivots, “J” turns
- Hockey aerobics and parachute resistance training
Daily puck control:
- Develop stick fakes and protecting the puck
- Develop quick stick handling by using lead pucks
- Develop skill of finding open ice
- Develop feet as part of puck control
- Learn curl and drag skill with stick
- Learn the power of peripheral vision
- Develop puck control while skating backwards and pivoting
Daily goal scoring:
- Develop stick speed while shooting
- Develop one-timer shot and develop off-balance shot
- Learn art of when to shoot, when to deke
- Develop all shots – wrist, backhand, snap, slap and deke
- Develop proper positioning for goal scoring
- Develop point shots and art of tip-ins
- Learn how to shoot on-the-fly
- Daily team play and controlled scrimmage
Off-ice training and rectreation includes:
- Hiking, swimming, circuit training sessions
- Daily lectures, free daily lunch
- Free official hockey camp jersey
- Video tape analysis
- Group sizes are limited to 34 skaters and 4 goalies
- Specialized goalie instruction included
