RESIDENCE FEATURES:

  • Each residence unit has 6 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with showers
  • Each residence unit has 1 senior staff per 6 players
  • Each residence unit has refrigerator and all furniture
  • On main floor of residence unit is laundry facilities, game room, and work-out gym
  • Outside the residence includes basketball court, tennis court, soccer field and baseball diamond
  • NEW! Swimming at the new Wellness Centre on campus


RESIDENCE INCLUDES:
(Sunday through to Friday afternoon)

  • Check-in Sunday 4:00 pm at Sir Sandford Fleming  College
  • Check-out Friday 6:00 pm at arena
  • 5 night stay over Sunday through Thursday
  • 5 dinners Sunday through Thursday
  • 5 breakfasts Monday through Friday
  • 5 lunches at arena Monday through Friday
  • Transportation between Residence and Evinrude Arena daily (5 minutes)
  • Camper will be sent checklist of things to bring in June mailer
  • Assistance in arranging airport shuttle

20 TOTAL HOURS ON-ICE MONDAY TO FRIDAY

4 Hours On-ice Daily:

  • 2 Hours each morning with instruction on power skating, advanced shooting, checking, passing and puck control.  Also advanced transition passing drills and advanced offensive attack drills and advanced defensive concepts.
  • 2 Hours on-ice each afternoon, with emphasis on team play, power play, penalty killing, and controlled scrimmage.
  • 1 hour hockey specific dry land training
  • Individual video tape analysis on shooting and skating.
  • 1 Hour daily recreation including soccer, ball hockey, lacrosse and basketball.
  • Daily lunch included.
  • Daily lectures.
  • Free official hockey camp jersey.
  • Groups will be limited to 30 skaters and 4 goalies.
  • 6 Instructors on-ice
